The Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination,	消除种族歧视委员会，
Having considered reports submitted by States parties under article 9 of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination at its seventh and eighth sessions,	审议了各缔约国在第七和第八届会议上根据《消除一切形式种族歧视国际公约》第九条规定提交的各份报告。
Bearing in mind the need for the reports sent by States parties to the Committee to be as informative as possible,	铭记各缔约国应向委员会提供尽可能详实的报告，
Invites States parties to endeavour to include in their reports under article 9 relevant information on the demographic composition of the population referred to in the provisions of article 1 of the Convention.	请各缔约国在根据第九条规定提交的报告中努力阐述《公约》第一条规定提及的有关人口构成的情况。
